New York Woman Wins Supplemental Security Income (SSI) Hearing

A 42-year-old woman from New York recently won her Supplemental Security Income (SSI) hearing.  She has struggled with depression for most of her life and despite regular treatment from both a psychiatrist and a psychotherapist, she continues to experience profound bouts of depression.  Her doctors offered an assessment of her condition in which they opined that she would be unable to work because she is not able to manage her mood.
