Providence Personal Injury Attorney Rob Levine Delivers 300 Turkey Dinners With all the Fixings to Families in Need
For the sixth consecutive year, Rob Levine and Associates is embracing their tradition of giving back during the Thanksgiving season. What began with the adoption of 25 families in 2015 has grown tenfold in its giving to 300 families. This year, Thanksgiving dinners will again consist of turkey, sides, vegetables- all the fixings and dessert-ready to cook; and will be delivered to 300 families just before Thanksgiving on Tuesday, November 26th.
“In our sixth year, Rob Levine & Associates invited Rhode Island based community organizations to submit names of families who could benefit from our program,” says Levine.
This year, Rob Levine & Associates has partnered with 10 community organizations to distribute 300 full Thanksgiving dinners. These organizations include: Central Falls Public Schools, East Providence Public Schools, Nowell Academy, Fall River Deaconess Home, St. Mary’s Home for Children, DARE, Progreso Latino, Dorcas International, Brain Injury Association, and WIC Tri County.
“Any holiday – especially Thanksgiving – should be a time when children and their families can enjoy spending time together without any added financial stress,” Levine said. This year has been especially difficult for so many during the pandemic. Numerous families have struggled with a loss of income and experienced hardships associated with unforeseen expenses brought on by COVID-19. “For many families, a turkey dinner is not financially possible. As a member of this community, we believe that we have a responsibility to give back to families in need.”
Rob Levine and Associates began this tradition in 2015 in Central Falls, a city Levine holds dear. It’s where he began his career in law enforcement. He, along with Beth Tanner, Principal in the Central Falls School District, identified families to provide the Thanksgiving meals. The goal of this event is to give back to families in the community for their betterment and growth.
This is only a small part in which Rob Levine & Associates gives back to our community. We are fortunate and thankful for the work we can do on behalf of our clients; and throughout the years we’ve taken on many initiatives aimed at giving back in ways that will enable us to help better the lives of families and children as well as our community.
