"There are timelines that each state requires a case to either settle or have a lawsuit filed, which is known as the statute of limitations. Often times, the pressure to settle a case before the expiration of a statute of limitation can be helpful to bring the insurance company and us as the attorney together to achieve a favorable settlement as the insurance company typically does not want to have their insurance served with a lawsuit"
