To prevent slip and falls:

- Add a slip-free matt and handle to your shower.
- Install a railing on your staircase.
- Make sure that rooms are well lit and easy to navigate.
- Ensure that carpet and mats are secured to the ground.
- Make sure repairs to floors and ceilings are fixed immediately.
