Providence, Rhode Island, August 29, 2021- Rob Levine & Associates is excited to announce its Back-to-School Backpack Program, the newest tradition to the Rob Levine Gives Back initiative. Each of the donated backpacks will contain the tools necessary to set our children up for success this coming school year: folders, notebook, pencils, pencil case, pencil sharpener, crayons, scissors, glue stick, and water bottle. The event will take place at the Roger Williams Carousel Village in Providence, Rhode Island. Registered families will stop by the designated location to pick up their backpacks, enjoy refreshments, and take a ride on the carousel.
For its inaugural kickoff, Rob Levine & Associates partnered with 8 community organizations and encouraged individuals to register online receive 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies. The organizations include Central Falls Public Schools, Progreso Latino, St. Mary’s Home for Children, Dorcas International, East Providence Public Schools, DARE, Central Falls Parks and Recreation, and Pawtucket Boys and Girls Club.
“This initiative aligns with our mission aimed at the betterment of kids, families, and community. Our Back-to-School Backpack Program allows us to make a difference for the children within our community. Providing them with the proper school supplies to set them up for educational success is just the first step of many. Our overall objective is to bring awareness to the importance of mental health and physical fitness for every child,” Levine said. This year has been especially difficult for so many during the pandemic. Numerous families have struggled with a loss of income and experienced hardships associated with unforeseen expenses brought on by COVID-19. “Those are our goals: always giving back, making a difference, and changing lives.”
This is only a small part in which Rob Levine & Associates gives back to our community. We are fortunate and thankful for the work we can do on behalf of our clients; and throughout the years we’ve taken on many initiatives aimed at giving back in ways that will enable us to help better the lives of families and children as well as our community. Our other initiatives include Thanksgiving Dinners, donating 500 meals (all ingredients) to families in need; Designated Drivers and Safe Ride App, offering free cab rides during seven holidays from restaurants and bars within the Providence area; and our Community Pay it Forward program which will be rolling out later this fall.
