Are You a Veteran Living in Georgia Ready to Get VA Benefits You Deserve? Here’s What You Need to Know About Your Eligibility:
In order to qualify for VA disability compensation, you must be a veteran. That means you served in the U.S. military, whether on active duty, active duty for training, or inactive duty for training. You also need an eligible discharge, or a discharge that is not dishonorable.
Next, you’ll need to prove that you have a current disability related to your service. To do this, you’ll generally need to provide evidence of the following:
- A current diagnosed disability;
- An in-service event, injury, disease, or stressor; and
- A medical connection (“nexus”) between the current disability and service.
If you’re an eligible veteran and you can prove all three things, the VA will recognize your entitlement to monetary benefits and will award Service Connection for a disability.
Each one of this steps can be conducted online from wherever you are. Let Rob Levine Law help you with this process. Call us now.
You’ve Been Awarded Service Connection. What Happens Next?
When the VA grants service connection, it recognizes that your disability is related to your military service. Next, the VA will award a disability rating, which is based on the severity of the service-connected disability. Ratings are assigned in 10% increments from 0% to 100%. A veteran’s combination of service-connected ratings (called a “combined rating”) will determine the amount of monetary benefits he or she will receive each month.
The last aspect of an award of service connection is the effective date. The effective date is the start date of the veterans benefits. It is usually the date of the filed claim for benefits.
You can obtain all this information online, remotely. Let Rob Levine Law help you walking through all the forms and requisites online to get the VA benefits you deserve.

Thank you everyone for the continued support!
As a military veteran, I have pursued a disability claim on my own and with multiple NSO’s. While my disability was +50%, it was obvious to me a law firm was necessary to help navigate the appeal process and all the details involved with it. I was astounded at how knowledgeable the firm was about my particular case and how hard working and persistent they are with the case. Since working with Rob Levine Law my disability rating has increased and I am confident it will continue to climb. The attorney I work closest (Dvora) with is a great communicator, responsive, patient, and has superior listening skills.
