Ellen Elwell is an accomplished Attorney with 25 years’ experience representing Social Security claimants. She was drawn to this field because of her experiences growing up with a little sister who had severe disabilities. Compassion and understanding are at her core. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from University of Massachusetts Boston, Ellen received her Juris Doctorate at Suffolk University Law School. She graduated cum laude and served on the Executive Board of Transnational Law Review as Chief Notes Editor. In 2011, Rob Levine recruited Ellen to help him establish the Social Security division. Starting from nothing allowed her to develop and implement strategies to process cases efficiently and favorably. Since then she has assisted many thousands of claimants nationwide in receiving their benefits. As Managing Attorney, Ellen uses her advocacy skills to teach and train our Associates and to support her entire team. Ellen’s devotion to her clients and her high standards and integrity are the foundation for the growth and success of the Social Security division. It is one of her proudest accomplishments. In her spare time, Ellen enjoys spending time playing cards with friends and family, days by the pool, and taking long walks with her beloved rescue dog, Rex.
