Add Your Dependents (If Applicable)
Enter the number of your dependent children under 18 and between 18 and 23. Select your marital status, and disclose if you have any dependent parents.
Review Your Estimated Compensation
Our tool will automatically calculate your VA combined disability rating and monthly pay for you based on the disabilities and dependent factors you’ve entered.
Understanding Your VA Disability Rating
The Department of Veterans Affairs assigns each veteran disability rating between 0 and 100 percent based on the severity of their condition and the extent of the impact on their life. Veterans with more than one disability are assigned a combined disability rating, which accounts for the rating of each individual condition but can’t exceed 100 percent.
The VA’s website has a series of tables to help veterans understand how to calculate their combined disability rating.
