I went to Suffolk University Law School in Boston. So, I quit my job after 10 years and went to law school. I’m the oldest of six kids, and one of my sisters was born with Down syndrome. She never walked and never talked, and growing up with a sibling like that taught me compassion and understanding. When I graduated from law school, an opportunity to work for disability came up, and once I started, I realized that’s what I was meant to do. I actually started the department with Rob. When I came in, there was no Social Security, and we’ve built the business up in that time. The thing about our job is people come to us at the worst times of their life. The gratitude that I get from clients in helping them through this process is extremely rewarding to me.
