How Long Does a Workers’ Compensation Claim Take?

So you’ve been injured and just starting the process and you’re injured at work and you really want to know how long is this process going to take? And the answer for that is it’s really different for everyone. And the reason for that is you’re going to be on workers’ compensation for as long as it takes for you to recover completely and really be able to return to work full time with no restrictions. So if you only have a small injury that heals quickly, the process will move faster. If you have a serious injury, you could be out of work for a long time. And the workers’ compensation carrier is responsible for all of your medical bills and paying you while you’re out of work in addition to a number of other things that you’re entitled to. So the question is how serious is your injuries and how long you’re gonna be out of work really determines how long the process takes.
