What Is the Connecticut Statute of Limitations for Personal Injury?

The statute of limitations for personal injury in Connecticut is two years. The case that stands out for me is one where the client was involved in a seemingly minor car accident where there was very little property damage, but she had hit her head on the car window. She ended up being diagnosed with a severe concussion and had a lot of lasting medical issues as a result. So the case ended up settling for a lot more than we would have expected initially. Cases like that remind me that it’s important to really pay attention to what the client’s going through and really evaluate every aspect of the case in order to maximize the settlement for the client.
