In this video, we are at Wickford Middle School for the exciting annual Billboard Valentine’s Day contest. This event marks the first of many years to come, celebrating the creativity of local students. The contest received 17 entries, with 15 students participating, some collaborating on their designs. The students were tasked with creating a potential billboard design for Valentine’s Day, and after careful consideration, the top four designs were selected.
Out of these, Laney Campfield’s design stood out and was chosen as the winner. Her winning design will be showcased on a billboard across Rhode Island and Massachusetts for this year’s Valentine’s Day. Rob Levine expresses his admiration for all the students’ hard work, praising their creativity and effort. He highlights that, while Laney’s design was selected as the winner, every student did an incredible job, and their work is deserving of recognition. The entire event was filled with excitement, and Rob Levine is looking forward to seeing the students’ designs come to life on the billboard.
The contest not only showcases the students’ artistic talent but also fosters a sense of community and encourages young people to engage in creative expression.
