Meet Rob Levine, Founder of Rob Levine Law

For most of his life, Rob Levine has shown up for people on their worst days. More than 25 years ago, he founded Rob Levine Law to help injured and disabled people pursue the compensation and benefits they deserve. Today, the firm handles personal injury cases in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire, as well as Social Security and veterans’ disability claims nationwide. Along the way, the firm has recovered more than $2 billion and helped more than 50,000 clients, earning Rob a nickname New Englanders know well: The Heavy Hitter®.

Rob’s path to law began on the front lines. He served as a military police officer, paramedic, and ski patroller before joining the Central Falls Police Department. An on-duty car crash ended his law enforcement career, but it left him with an experience that still guides his work today. He knows firsthand what it means to face a serious injury, a long recovery, and an uncertain future. After earning his degree from Roger Williams University School of Law, Rob set out to help people facing the same hardships.

Since then, Rob Levine Law has grown from a single office in Providence into a team of hundreds. That expansion has earned the firm a place on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, and Rob sees it as just the beginning. He is focused on building a firm that pairs new technology with a personal touch, so it can reach even more people who need help.

Rob believes a thriving firm should uplift the communities that make its success possible. Through Rob Levine Gives Back, the firm delivers Thanksgiving meals to families in need, gives away school backpacks at its Family Fun Fest events, and offers free holiday rides home to help prevent drunk driving.

Rob Levine Law also supports The Hotel for Homeless Dogs, an animal rescue in Cumberland, Rhode Island, by featuring adoptable dogs on social media and bringing the shelter to community events to help more dogs find loving families. This cause is close to Rob’s heart. As a rookie officer in Central Falls, he raised $16,000 to launch the department’s first K9 unit and trained alongside his new partner in Bakersfield, California. That partnership sparked a love of dogs that has stayed with him ever since.

At home, Rob is a proud dad to two daughters, and his dog is never far from his side. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, staying active, and exploring all that Rhode Island has to offer.

From the back of an ambulance to the front of a courtroom, Rob’s work has changed, but the motivation behind it has not. When people need someone in their corner, Rob Levine still shows up.
