We pursued mediation with a demand of $45 million. While the defendants countered with an offer of $2 million, they ultimately agreed to a mediator’s proposal of $8 million.
Although we were confident in our ability to secure a larger verdict at trial, our client made the brave and thoughtful decision to accept the settlement, prioritizing closure and long-term financial stability. This resolution marks a powerful, life-changing outcome that will provide our client with the resources to access medical care, therapeutic support, and a more secure future.
