Kelsey Craveiro, Managing Attorney of our Veterans Disability Division, will be attending and speaking at the National Organization of Veterans Advocates (NOVA) Spring Conference, April 16-18, 2026, in San Diego, California. Her presentation is entitled Maximizing VA Electronic Access: The Latest Tools to Enhance Your Practice.
Introduction to the Event
NOVA offers two seminars per year, in the spring and fall. These seminars are intended to increase the confidence, knowledge, and skills of attorneys who represent veterans for disability claims with the Veterans Administration (VA). The NOVA conference will cover a variety of aspects of veterans disability claims, including discussions regarding recent court cases, language regarding medical conditions and how it applies in VA claims, strategies for winning benefits for veterans, AI use in VA claims, and the latest tools in the VA’s electronic system that can help win cases.
About NOVA
NOVA is a veterans legal advocacy organization that assists veterans in finding advocate attorneys who can assist them in applying for veterans disability benefits or appealing a decision in a claim previously filed. NOVA explains that there are many options for assistance with veterans disability claims, but notes that individuals represented by attorneys tend to see a higher allowance rate in the initial claim and lower denial rates in appeals.
