Angela Thomas is an accomplished professional with a proven track record of success in appellate law involving Veteranís Disability Benefits. Ms. Thomas has several years of experience in handling Veteranís cases and has won many outstanding fee awards for our Veterans. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida, where she graduated magna cum laude. She subsequently earned her J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law. During her time at Florida Coastal, Ms. Thomas was a Justice on the Honor Court, Student Bar Association Treasurer, Mock Trial Team member, Phi Delta Phi member and interned at the City of Jacksonville’s Office of the General Counsel. Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Thomas has traveled extensively throughout her life and as a child lived in Australia. These past experiences, and seeing the diverse problems of the world firsthand, have directed her along her legal career. While captivated with evolving world issues and individual human rights, she focused on Eastern European International Law and Transnational Litigation. Ms. Thomas further found her passion for giving a voice to the voiceless through first volunteering and then becoming Senior Program Attorney in the Guardian ad Litem Program as a court-appointed special advocate representing foster care children. All these experiences combined, have culminated into a sincere and passionate career representing our deserving Veterans that have fought for our country. Outside of work, she finds balance through spending time with her family and continued travel to new destinations.
