About Vanessa Pierre

Vanessa Pierre is a Veterans Disability Attorney licensed to practice law in Florida. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in classical languages at the University of Iowa, and graduated from Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. Vanessa is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honorary society. After her undergraduate studies, she joined the United States Peace Corps where she served as a literacy specialist in western Uganda for two years. Before starting her career as an attorney, Vanessa worked as an intake specialist and manager, gaining valuable insight and knowledge in VA disability claims, the appeals process, and the impact it has on veterans and their families. It was this experience that inspired her to become an attorney. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys quilting, reading, baking bread, and taking care of her houseplants.
