The team at Rob Levine Law has a lot to be grateful for in 2025. This year, we’ve stepped up our commitment to community involvement, expanding our internal charitable efforts while working to support and participate in cultural and fundraising events throughout.
We have called Rhode Island home for more than 25 years. Our firm is driven by compassion for those in need, and it’s a privilege to give back to the communities that have supported us for so long. Here are some of the community events and charitable efforts we’ve participated in throughout 2025:
Backpack Event – Donated 1,000 Backpacks
Since 2021, Rob Levine Law has helped children in Providence prepare for a new school year through our Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway program. Our firm gave out 1,000 backpacks to local kids for this year’s annual Rob Levine Family Fun Day.
Community members were also treated to fun activities like free face painting, clowns, carnival games, and a DJ. Family Fun Day brings joy to local families while ensuring their kids have all the necessary supplies to excel in the upcoming school year.
Taking the Reins on Homelessness – Proud Sponsor of the MAE Organization Event
Rob Levine Law was a proud sponsor of the MÃE Organization for the Homeless’ “Taking the Reins on Homelessness” fundraising event this May.
The Kentucky Derby-themed event featured dancing with a live DJ, a fashion show, a photo booth, and silent auctions, with all proceeds directly supporting MÃE’s efforts to provide therapy, food, clothing, and other essential needs to Rhode Island’s homeless population.
Our firm has proudly supported MAE for more than a decade, and Rob Levine now serves on the organization’s Board of Directors. Rob Levine Law also sponsored the organization’s 10th Annual Be the Light Gala in November.
Designated Driver Program – Donated Safety Vouchers for the Holidays
We know the devastating impact drunk driving can have on our community. That’s why Rob Levine Law has given out free Uber vouchers around major holidays. Our Holiday Safe Ride program helps our friends and neighbors get home safely, preventing accidents and ensuring everyone gets to celebrate with their loved ones.
Those in and around Providence & Boston can claim a voucher for a free Uber ride through the Rob Levine App. Vouchers are available annually on:
- New Year’s Eve
- St. Patrick’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- The Wednesday before Thanksgiving
Newport Gulls – Sponsorship
Since 1998, the Newport Gulls have given local families the opportunity to watch potential future MLB players slug it out at fun-filled collegiate summer baseball games. Rob Levine Law was a proud supporter of the 2025 Gulls.
Cape Verdean Festival – Proud Sponsor
Rhode Island’s Cape Verdean community gathered in Providence this July at the annual Cape Verdean Independence Day Festival, celebrating 50 years of the West African island nation’s independence from Portuguese rule.
Providence has long been the home of a large Cape Verdean diaspora. Rob Levine Law is proud to have sponsored this vibrant community cultural celebration, which featured live performances, crafts from local vendors, and authentic Cape Verdean cuisine.
WaterFire Salute to Veterans – Sponsored Dare to Dream Ranch
The annual WaterFire Salute to Veterans is a community celebration honoring U.S. veterans and military personnel. The event centers around a torch lighting ceremony at WaterPlace Park in Providence featuring more than 150 veterans.
Our firm participated in the 2025 WaterFire Salute to Veterans as a sponsor of Dare to Dream Ranch, an organization that offers alternative therapy programs to veterans with mental and emotional health issues.
2025 Turkey Giveaway – Donated Thanksgiving Dinners to 750 Families
Since 2015, Rob Levine Law’s Annual Thanksgiving Food Giveaway has helped Rhode Island families in need enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We made our greatest effort yet in 2025, delivering 750 meals and expanding the giveaway to families in Massachusetts. We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back to our communities and help everyone enjoy a wonderful holiday together. We’re already looking forward to continuing this tradition in 2026 with a new goal of 1,000 Thanksgiving dinners.
MERI Kids – Mini Entrepreneurs of RI
Rob Levine Law is a proud sponsor of Mini Enterpreneurs of Rhode Island, or MERI, an organization that helps kids aged 4-16 learn business skills, particularly those from low-income communities. We held a gas gift card giveaway earlier this year to support MERI and its mission to educate and empower the next generation of business leaders in our community.
Stand Down for Veterans Cape Cod
Rob Levine Law is proud to have participated in the 4th Annual Stand Down for Veterans Cape Cod event by offering free legal services to attendees. The event, held by the Cape & Island Veterans Outreach Center, supports homeless and at-risk veterans by providing access to essential resources, including free food, clothing, and health screenings.
Latin Expo
Radio station Latina 100.3 FM’s 2025 Latin Expo, held in October, brought a fun and fashionable cultural celebration to Providence. Rob Levine Law is happy to have participated in the event, helping to celebrate and support local businesses and communities.
The Latin Expo featured a variety of different attractions, including music and dance performances, a fashion show, and food trucks. The event also included a job fair, as well as business exhibitions.
Bowling for Champions Events
We’re proud to have hosted “Bowling for Champions” at Lang’s Bowlarama in Cranston, Rhode Island. The event helped support local causes while bringing community members together through friendly competition.
