Our Thanksgiving Giveaway Program provides free, complete holiday meals to families facing financial hardship, delivered with dignity and care. What started as a small neighborhood effort has grown into one of our firm’s most meaningful annual traditions.
What Is the Thanksgiving Giveaway Program?
The program is Rob Levine Law’s ongoing initiative to provide complete, traditional Thanksgiving meals to families in need throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Each meal package includes everything needed for a full holiday spread (turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry sauce, pie, and more), so families can gather around the table without worrying about costs.
Rather than a one-time donation drive, the Thanksgiving Meal program is a standing part of our firm’s community involvement, returning every holiday season to reach more families than the year before.

The Program’s Purpose & Impact
We believe every family deserves the chance to celebrate the holidays together, regardless of financial circumstance. Thanksgiving should be a time of connection and gratitude, not a time to stress about putting food on the table.
The purpose of this program is simple:
- Ease financial pressure during one of the most expensive times of the year for many households
- Strengthen community bonds between our firm and the neighborhoods we serve
- Create a lasting tradition of generosity that grows year after year
When we started this initiative over a decade ago, we delivered 20 meals, and that number has grown since. Now, we donate 1,000 meals to people across New England, reflecting a firm-wide belief that giving back should scale with our ability to help.
A Growing Tradition of Giving Back
Since 2015, Rob Levine Law has been hosting the Thanksgiving Food Giveaway to support families in need during the holiday season. What began with just 20 meals in 2015 has grown year after year. Here’s a look at the growth of the event over the years:
- 2015: 20 meals donated
- 2016: 40 meals donated
- 2017: 100 meals donated
- 2018: 200 meals donated
- 2019: 250 meals donated
- 2020: 300 meals donated
- 2021: 500 meals donated
- 2022: 500 meals donated
- 2023: 500 meals donated
- 2024: 500 meals donated
- 2025: 1,000 meals donated
- 2026: Goal of 1,000 meals to be donated
How It Works
Each year, our firm partners with the community to identify and support families in need across our service areas. Meals are packaged as complete Thanksgiving dinners and delivered directly to recipients’ homes, removing barriers like transportation or mobility that might otherwise stand in the way.
