At Rob Levine Law we have a soft spot for kids, so any charity event that benefits our local children is sure to become a highlight in our office!
This summer we were a “Major League Sponsor” of the Second Annual Softball Tournament for Children’s Wishes. The event was held on July 27, 2013. Children’s Wishes is a local Rhode Island charity that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses.
Children’s Wishes has helped dozens of local families make their children’s wishes come true for:
- family vacations
- meeting their heroes
- or getting their very own computers.
In addition to the double elimination style softball tournament, there was a home run derby for anyone who dared to swing a bat for a good cause, as well as live entertainment, food, and prize raffles.
Children’s Wishes is just one of the many local organizations we support as a part of our community involvement. We also proudly support youth-focused programs like:
- Ocean State Waves Summer Baseball Camp, giving kids the chance to build skills and confidence through sport
- Family-friendly community activities such as our Newport Skating Event, which brings local families together for fun and connection
- Our Annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s Event, which brings people together to raise awareness and funds for a cause that impacts so many families
- The MDA Lock-Up fundraiser, where Rob Levine raised over $10,000 for children with muscular dystrophy, showing our deep commitment to improving lives through advocacy and generosity
- Sponsoring the Kids Corner at McCoy Stadium, where Rob Levine Law donated 1,400 PawSox tickets to help local families enjoy a day at the ballpark together
- Sponsoring Camp Fuller experiences for children of Rhode Island National Guard members, helping provide fun and growth opportunities to military families
- Partnering with RISD and Laurelmead to empower intergenerational connection and creativity, supporting design students and seniors in building meaningful, community-centered projects
