Rob Levine Brings Jayce the Healer Foundation on The Rhode Show to Raise Awareness for Water Safety
This morning Rob Levine invited Karla Sherman, the founder of the Jayce the Healer Foundation, to join him on The Rhode Show. Jayce “The Healer” Foundation focuses on raising awareness about water safety and drowning prevention. Drowning is the leading cause of death in children aged 1-4 years. Children under the age of 4 are at most risk of injury and death due to swimming pool injury. These injuries are almost always preventable, which is why raising awareness is so important to prevent future tragedies.
Jayce “The Healer” Foundation
Karla lost her son to drowning in 2014 and has made it a mission to spread awareness of the dangers of drowning. She started the Jayce the Healer Foundation in honor of her son Jayce. The organization works in the community by providing swimming scholarships for kids who need to learn to swim, as well as providing children life jackets to children who haven’t learned.
